Dear Team, On behalf of the Board, I would like to thank and congratulate everyone on the efforts that went into last night’s State of Origin match at ANZ Stadium. It was a huge effort for all, but particularly for the Operations team led by Ashley Gavenlock, David Haigh and Reece Davies. With all hands on deck across integrated LED and Production, the Operations Team delivered a monumental showcase of our significant capabilities and left no doubt in the NRL’s mind that Techfront are not just the best choice, but the only choice when it comes to LED signage, production and fan engagement technologies. As a result of last night’s seamless delivery the NRL are now looking to use us for more events in a much broader capacity than ever before. Terms are yet to be agreed but this is exactly the sort of engagement we were looking for in the long term with the NRL and I can’t thank you all enough for helping to secure this. It wasn’t just us noticing the extra bits and pieces we had around the stadium either. Yesterday, Mumbrella gave readers a heads up on our “out-of-home on steroids” roll out of LED displays around the ground. Sponsorship News ran a story last week (attached) highlighting sponsors new ability to “own” moments – i.e. tries and 5th tackle. This was off the back of the Daily Telegraph’s story last Wednesday about virtual reality taking fans into the game and Roy & HG’s segment last Saturday (from 27mins) exploring further the plethora of technological options that we, Techfront, are making a reality. It’s a hugely exciting time for us, and last night’s success was a pinnacle achievement for us. Well done, and thank you all again. Neil
